MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd have acted swiftly to protect the interests of both Exmac Automation Ltd and Excel Automation Ltd clients following on from the recent move into receivership of Excel Automation Ltd.

MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd announce the purchase all assets, plant & equipment and IPR   of Excel Automation Ltd from the receivers. Excel Automation Ltd, who had delivered high quality material handling solutions and equipment to a wide range of customers across a number of industrial segments for the past 17 years, became a casualty of the current financial climate despite an extremely strong order book and a large number of quality future prospects. Excel Automation Ltd were a former supplier to many blue chip organisations such as BMW, Honda, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Nissan, Toyota, Perkins, Chep Pallets, Chivas Brothers.

 

MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd have secured the services of all of the key senior management and senior design engineers, who will now form a new stronger team to deliver best in class material handling solutions through its subsidiary company Exmac Automation Ltd which is a 100% owned subsidiary company of MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd.

 

The new Exmac Automation Ltd team will operate from the former Excel Automation Ltd facility in Worcester which was also secured by MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd as part of the development plan for Exmac Automation Ltd. This will ensure minimal disruption and guarantee future stability to existing clients and customers

 

Included as part of the purchase agreement is the IPR and designs of Excel Automation Ltd. This coupled with the services of the key senior designers gives Exmac Automation Ltd the unique ability to offer support and enhancements of existing installations to former clients of Excel Automation Ltd. Also this allows Exmac Automation Ltd to continue to offer the market place the entire suite of material handling products and solutions formally offered by Excel Automation Ltd.

 

Exmac Automation Ltd are able to offer new and existing clients a complete range of quality material handling equipment and solutions with the combined strength of the total system integration competencies of MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd.
