Our History

Exmac Automation Ltd was formed in 2009 as a Joint Venture business between Excel Automation & MacDonald Humfrey Automation Ltd and soon became a major supplier to Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace supplying specialist handling equipment for aero engine assembly.

Excel Automation subsequently went into administration and key personel transfered to Exmac, together with the intellectual property rights and conveyor system designs.  The business was integrated into the MacDonald Humfrey Group, and Exmac now operates from the original Worcester site.
